Jadene A. Pimenta
About Me
Hi my name is Jadene Ambrosius Pimenta, an Educational Psychologist with a passion for working with children. I offer compassionate, play-based therapeutic support tailored to each child’s individual needs. In my practice, children are met with patience, empathy, and genuine care, while parents are supported and empowered as active partners in their child’s journey. Each child deserves a space where they are understood, heard, seen, and supported. At my practice, I take a warm, personalised approach to every child and family I work with. I use what’s called an integrative systems approach, which simply means I look at the bigger picture—your child, their environment, and the relationships around them. My work is grounded in a client-centered approach, meaning your child’s unique needs, strengths, and voice guide the process. I draw on a variety of tools and techniques to support each child in a way that feels right for them, creating a safe and supportive space where they can grow, heal, and thrive.

Some of My Services

Play Therapy
01.Safety & Creativity
Young children express themselves most naturally through play. This therapy provides a safe, creative space to explore emotions and experiences at their own pace. Through guided play, children process difficulties, build confidence, and develop coping skills without relying on verbal expression. The approach helps improve emotional regulation while honoring each child’s unique way of communicating. Most importantly, it transforms challenges into growth opportunities through their natural language of play.

Assessments
02.Providing Asessments
These comprehensive evaluations reveal how your child learns, thinks, and processes emotions. By identifying both strengths and areas needing support, they create a roadmap for academic and emotional success. The assessment guides parents and educators in developing tailored strategies for the classroom and beyond. With clear insights into cognitive and emotional functioning, children receive precisely targeted support. The result is confidence in learning and greater wellbeing at every developmental stage.

Therapy
03.Psychotherapy
Personalized therapeutic support for children facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges. Through evidence-based approaches tailored to each child’s needs, therapy builds self-awareness and coping strategies. Sessions provide a safe space to process feelings, improve relationships, and develop resilience. Difficulties are addressed with professional care while nurturing the child’s unique strengths. The goal is meaningful growth that supports wellbeing at home, school, and beyond.

Family Therapy
04.Helping Families
This supportive approach helps families navigate challenges while strengthening their connections. Through gentle, inclusive techniques, each member finds their voice in a safe environment. Therapy addresses communication patterns, life transitions, and emotional wounds with care and professionalism. Families learn to process difficulties together while building healthier relationships.
